Cambria is a California native who grew up in the Sacramento area (Folsom) and has been passionate about pets since she was very young. Her family got a dog from a Labrador Retriever rescue and she soon stating volunteering with the organization. After graduating from high school, Cambria knew she wanted to continue working with animals as a career and earned a degree in animal science from California Polytechnic in San Luis Obispo in 2017.
While attending college, Cambria continued to volunteer with the on-campus cat shelter, was a member of the wildlife club and still managed to find time to play on the intramural soccer team. She is currently pursuing her veterinary technician certification through Allan Hancock College, and is Fear Free certified.
When she’s not working or studying, Cambria enjoys biking, playing soccer, hiking, and hanging at the beach with Carly, the 10-year-old black lab she rescued with her family many years ago.
