Cambria is a California native who grew up in the Sacramento area (Folsom) and has been passionate about pets since she was very young. Her family got a dog from a Labrador Retriever rescue and she soon started volunteering with the organization. After graduating from high school, Cambria knew she wanted to continue working with animals as a career and earned a degree in animal science from California Polytechnic in San Luis Obispo in 2017.
While attending college, Cambria continued to volunteer with the on-campus cat shelter, was a member of the wildlife club and still managed to find time to play on the intramural soccer team. She recently received her certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician through Allan Hancock College and is Fear Free certified. She is also a Technician Supervisor at Buena Vet.
When she’s not working or studying, Cambria enjoys biking, playing soccer, hiking, and hanging at the beach with Carly, the 10-year-old black lab she rescued with her family many years ago.
